NIck Barratt at LiL Fest

Nick Barratt will talk about the popularity of mainstream TV programmes such as Who Do You Think You Are? and discuss the impact of DNA connectivity, generative AI and deep fake tools on the process of researching family history in the 21st century.

Dr Nick Barratt is a genealogist and Director of Senate House Library at the University of London. He is best known as genealogical consultant for series 1 to 4 of the BBC show Who Do You Think You Are? Nick is also the CEO of Sticks Research Agency and personal heritage site Nation’s Memory Bank.
