We are a leading multidisciplinary specialist conservatoire delivering expert music and performing arts education in the heart of Leeds’ vibrant cultural quarter. The conservatoire has always been a key player in the Leeds cultural scene, championing relevant and innovative music education since its inception in 1965.

The Conservatoire offers undergraduate and post graduate degree courses, a number of short courses and a Leeds Junior Conservatoire for young musicians and performers.  We are artistically ambitious, industry-focussed and quality-driven, placing a strong emphasis on developing career-ready musicians performers and creative entrepreneurs.

The Library offers access to extensive online and physical music resources, a varied study environment and a range of tailored support to our students.
